Opening Date 1998

Bellagio is one of the world's finest hotels. The client Steve Wynn set out to create a new experience, combining rich European luxury with his own theatrical flair. Inspired by the resort town of Bellagio on Lake Como, principal designer Michael Hong combined elements of classic Italian design with his unique American vernacular. The results created a new standard of luxury and elegance which has transformed Las Vegas. The majestic tower soars above the lake, ringed in rich colors and exceptional details. The spectacular water and light show help to complete this new and unique experience. On the interior Michael Hong also broke new ground. Inspired by the crystal palaces of 19th century Europe, he designed the lobby and Conservatory with abundant details, bathed in natural light and a constantly changing feast of nature's beauty.

Featuring more than 200,000 square feet of meeting and convention facilities; 45,458 square-foot Grand Ballroom, 30,800-square-foot Tower Ballroom, 22,052-square-foot Bellagio Ballroom; More than 100,000 square feet of gaming area; Spa Tower opened December 23, 2004; Additional 928 rooms and suites, 60,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, restaurant Sensi, additional retail outlets and a European-style pastry shop.

Exceptional design has helped make Bellagio the most successful hotel in the world. Voted as one of the 10 most influential buildings of the 1990's, it has helped define a decade and a culture and will stand the test of time.
